Polysorbate 80 is  obtained by esterification of sorbitol with one or three molecules of a fatty acid including stearic, lauric, oleic, and palmitic acid.
It is regarded as a safe ingredient in skin and hair care.
Polysorbate 80 just like emulsifying wax is an emulsifier that brings water and oil together.
It is best used for oils that are thicker and heavier.
Usage : 1-10%
It is soluble in water and alcohol.
Can be added to  face toners, face cleansers, serums, lotions and creams
