Description
Lotion Pro 165 is a very versatile non-ionic oil-in-water emulsifier that creates silky smooth, ultra-light emulsions.
Lotion pro 165 can create lotions that are lighter and fluffier than those made with Emulsifying Wax NF, with a less waxy feel, and it is also able to create buttery formulations when combined with fatty alcohols and water-phase Thickeners.
As a nonionic emulsifier, it tolerates the addition of acidic actives and salts. It also functions as a wetting agent for antiperspirant salts in sticks and as an opacifier in clear cleansing systems.
There is no general rule for the amount of lotion pro 165 to use in a given formulation.
We suggest starting with 4% and going up or down from there to achieve the stability and feel you are looking for in your formulation.

Can be used in the formulation of lotions, creams, oil treatments, body washes and hair care products.
