It is a non-gelling thickener (but binds water) and viscosity enhancer. It provides volume and enhances foam in surfactant systems. Stabilizes emulsions and has lubricant properties.
Typical use level: 0.5-2%.

Applications: Shampoos, conditioners, lotions, creams, body washes, shower gels.
